Works nicely for me. Thanks for doing this, it’s much more usable!

Hopefully, this will be standard or configurable in future versions of EE.

Amen. Multi-select boxes are a huge pain to deal with. At least give us the option built-in. Also, I love that this extension utilises labels. EE is by far the most accessible CMS I’ve toyed with. Of course, I’m not a CMS guru but EE requires very little tweaking on my part but when I do it’s relatively easy and straightforward. grin

Excellent extension. This would be a nice option in future EE updates. This option is very “client friendly” for selecting multiple categories.

Thanks!

I just installed this for the first time on a recent build. Works great! Thanks, Cocoaholic. Happy Holidays.

I just downloaded it and got v 1.1.1. Also, I couldn’t click on the settings link as it is looking for a lang file with is not in the archive.

I second that - the language file is not included, which gives an error when the settings button is clicked.

Oops,

Not sure what happened exactly but seems like I messed up the download.
Should be fixed now, please download again.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Still at 1.1.1 and still no lang file in the archive. I am downloading from the link in the very first post.

I just downloaded from the first post and there is definitely a lang file in there. Perhaps try from a different browser?

Best wishes,

Mark

That must be your browser caching the old version.
Try with an empty cache or another browser.

Totally fab. Thanks Elwin. I’ve got a missing Edit Categories link issue too. But it doesn’t seem to be your fault. Again, great stuff.

Cheers!

Maybe someone should start a thread about that “missing Edit Categories link” issue?

sneers, I’m finding that the missing Edit Categories link happens with the extension - but eventually after the whole thing loads, the link magically shows up.

Found the problem, as posted here. Mark’s GeoCoding extension seems to be hurting the Edit Categories link.

I am finding an incompatibility between this (1.1.2) and Mark Huot’s Checkboxes extension. I can use one or the other but I get a blank entry page if I have both enabled.

Hi Hambo,

I just tested but can’t replicate the problem here.
A blank page could be a memory issue though.
