Pmachine should pay you. File uploading and file management in EE is atrocious, and this represents a huge leap forward, IMO. Thank you for this and all the other extensions you’ve pumped out recently.

sigork, I can’t seem to recreate that error, however I do remember a similar error in a previous version of the extension.  Please make sure you’ve downloaded the latest version from the first post in this thread.

sigork, here’s another version which fixes a bug in IE and hopefully your MySQL bug.  Download it in the first post of this thread.

The extension was updated again to remove a PHP warning that popped up.  Grab it at the top of this thread.

mark, this is a question related to alot of your recent extensions added new custom field types.  what are the chances of them working with the standalone entry form?

Honestly smallbeer, I’m not too sure.  I’ve never investigated.  I will look into it though and see what is required for it to happen.

This is a problem with the way EE was written, to read more go here: http://expressionengine.com/forums/viewthread/38843/#181791.  Also find my one line hack in the response following the linked post.

Extension error: narrowed it down to ‘File’ custom fields. Any ideas? Using v.1.0.8, downloaded today (30 October) from the top of this thread.

MySQL ERROR:

Error Number: 1054

Description: Unknown column ‘field_id_36_img’ in ‘field list’

Query: UPDATE `exp_weblog_data` SET `weblog_id` = ‘2’, `field_id_33` = ‘Adrienne Travis’, `field_ft_33` = ‘none’, `field_id_31` = ‘A gorgeous, heavy duty portfolio/document case collaged and embellished with reproduction vintage maps, labels, documents, and various ephemera. Each one unique.’, `field_ft_31` = ‘xhtml’, `field_id_21` = ‘This is a portfolio/document case made from Davey board (ultra-heavy chipboard) and Gorilla Tape. The structure is my own design, and i\‘ve been carrying mine around for months now. It\‘s *super* sturdy. (Then it\‘s varnished within an inch of its life, to keep the surface from being damaged!) Are you using Quick Save or Update?
Are you sure the extension is enabled?  Try disabling it and enabling it again.

I was using Update ... but, it’s not the fault of YOUR extension at all. It seems that the ‘Publish Page Improvements’ extension was interacting badly with it. Given that i’d rather have yours, it’s a no-brainer which to kill. smile

Unfortunately timoteus I believe the extension uses some ee 1.4.x extension hooks, so I don’t think there is any way to get it working in 1.2.1, you should think about upgrading to a later release.

<strike>Alright, i’ve looked through the publish improvements extension and updated it to play nice with other extensions.  You can find it here: http://expressionengine.com/forums/viewthread/37840/#186827</strike>

Keep a close eye on the publish page improvements thread.  There should be another release soon.
