As many of you will know, my focus is mainly around church websites.

The majority of churches aren’t that different with regard to their requirements from a website. The generally have about, services, audio, ministries sections.

I go through the process of setting custom fields etc on each new site but I’m thinking there must be a better way for me to streamline my development by having these setup in advance.

I’m eagerly awaiting my EECI dvd as Jamie Pittock gave a good insight into custom config file setup, his slides didn’t touch on the db side of things so imagine a sql file could be the way to go.

Anyone have something similar?

Cheers,
Steven

Why not just setup a basic install/setup and then just do an sql dump/restore and use ‘Deploy Helper’...just a thought while you wait for DVDs wink
