I recently needed to apply a watermark/copyright message to 100’s of images site-wide, so I added a new feature to the Image Sizer plugin; the extra code works by merging a .png overlay into the cached images. This means you can use drop-shadows, logos, transparency etc. - works a treat.

I know a few other people have been asking about this. Attached are sample images showing how it could be used.

Update:
Also attached is the modified Image Sizer 2.5.6.05 plugin for EE1.6.x.

Usage examples:

{exp:imgsizer:size src="{image}" width="900" overlay_file="/img/watermark.png" overlay_size="50"}

{exp
:imgsizer:size src="{image}" width="900" overlay_file="/img/watermark.png" overlay_position="0"

Guru—

Have added some of my own mods to Image Sizer.  Have you tried contacting the developer directly?  That was my thought, but decided to search the forum first to see if he was still active.

Is there an example or modified imgsizer for download?
I’m interested in this post as I have to make something similar..
On every image upload (I’m using Mark Huot file field) I have to put a watermark

Am I right in believing it keeps all the parameters from the main Lumis imgsizer plugin like auto sizing, caching, quality, greyscale, it just adds the watermarking feature?
and works fine with the plugin as a single and paired tag?
