Yeah I experienced the head chopping on one site I did a little while ago, I ended up forcing the client just to watch what images he uploads so they get cut correctly because he didn’t want to do it manually at all. The reason he second won’t initialize is most likely due to duplicate names on elements.

This addon seems really great, but I’m unable to get it to work. I’m using the jquery 1.4.2, FF 1.4.2, Matrix 2, and EE 1.6.9.

This is the problem I’m experiencing:

When I select images from the bulk upload button, all of the images seem to get added only to the first row of the matrix. Multiple rows get created, but only the fist row gets populated with an image. The first row is also the only row that will show all the new image files in the browse pull-down. The other rows remain empty with each row showing less of the newly uploaded images. Any ideas what the problem is? Is it related to the fact that I’m using the latest versios of EE, FF and Matrix?

I just realized this may be confusting, “When I select images from the bulk upload button, all of the images seem to get added only to the first row of the matrix.”

What I mean is that I see the thumbnails all getting displayed, sequentially, in the first row of the matrix. They are not all shown simultaneously. The last image ends of sticking, then the following rows don’t get populated with any images in the nGen cell.

Did you make sure to download the correct one for what version of matrix you have installed?

Yes, I’m using the Matrix 2 download (but I needed to download the language file from the Matrix 1 download, correct?). I tested this out on another site that we developed using older versions of EE, FF and Matrix and it works great using the Matrix 1 version. I just can’t get it functioning using the latest versions of EE, FF, nGen and Matrix.

I will try and check it out this weekend, I believe I have the latest version of all of them installed and working.

I have Wygwam installed in my matrix. Could there be a conflict?

I think that’s the problem. I just tested your addon using a Wygwam-free matrix, and it worked! Then I tried changing one of the fieldtypes to Wygwam, and the problem returned.

Now that we’ve figured this out, do you think it will be possible to get this working with Wygwam?
